Horse Transport - Our Fleet
TAGS Horse Transport and Groom Services, based in West Sussex, offer a truly professional horse transport and groom service run by highly experienced staff capable of dealing with all eventualities. We only use fully insured drivers and carry £1 million public liability insurance. Our horsebox is purpose built for the comfort and safety of your equine and we are authorised to carry horses for journeys up to 12 hours in duration.
Our horsebox is perfect for any equine transport requirements including racing, eventing, show jumping, dressage and mares & foals. So, be it taking a racehorse to Epsom or a child’s pony to gymkhana, TAGS are there for you. And, for extra peace of mind, our 24/7 emergency service is available should you need us for emergency horse transportation.
Our Horsebox
Our customised horsebox is purpose built for two large horses and is fitted with removable stallion header boards. The vehicles is type 2 with good headroom and wide stalls. Large partitions give ample travelling room for the largest of horses, but is also equally suitable for mares and foals. It’s very light and airy, with roof vents and windows providing ample ventilation. Loading is made easy with an extremely low side ramp.
Our vehicle has on-board cameras so that our drivers are able to keep a close eye on your animal at all times whilst in transit.
To ensure maximum comfort for your animal, our vehicle incorporates the most up to date temperature control system, ensuring your horse is comfortable in all weather conditions.
TAGS also offer horse transport for shared journeys should you wish to share the cost with a friend. Additionally we offer full grooming and tack up services whilst at events.
